Anabrez Tablet is prescribed for treating early-stage breast cancer in postmenopausal women, either as standalone therapy or in combination with other treatments like surgery or radiation. It also serves as first-line therapy for advanced breast cancer that has metastasized within the breast or to other body parts.

As an aromatase inhibitor, Anabrez Tablet reduces estrogen levels in the body. It can be taken with or without food, but maintaining a consistent daily schedule enhances its effectiveness. Always follow your doctor’s prescribed dosage and duration, which varies based on your condition. Swallow the tablet whole with water.

Common side effects may include hot flashes, nausea, skin rashes, joint pain, bone density loss (osteoporosis), and fatigue. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or become bothersome, as management strategies may be available.

Prior to starting treatment, inform your physician if you’re premenopausal, have liver/kidney impairment, or are taking other medications that might interact. This medication isn’t suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Your doctor may monitor vitamin D levels and bone density during treatment.
