Angizem CD

Angizem CD Capsule ER is prescribed for treating angina (chest pain related to heart conditions), hypertension, and certain cardiac arrhythmias. As a calcium channel blocker medication, it functions by dilating blood vessels to reduce blood pressure, thereby decreasing cardiac workload.

This extended-release capsule should be taken consistently at the same time daily, with or without food, as directed by your physician. Continue treatment even when asymptomatic, as abrupt discontinuation may exacerbate your condition. This medication is most effective when combined with lifestyle modifications including dietary changes, exercise, and weight management as recommended by your healthcare provider.

Common adverse effects may include headache, constipation, dizziness, fatigue, nausea, facial flushing, and skin rashes. These typically subside as your body adjusts to the medication. Notify your doctor if these persist or become bothersome. Due to potential drowsiness or dizziness, exercise caution when operating vehicles or machinery. Alcohol consumption may intensify side effects and should be avoided.
