Product Overview

Arzep Nasal Spray is a combination medication containing Azelastine HCL and Fluticasone Propionate. This dual-action nasal spray effectively alleviates symptoms of allergic rhinitis including nasal congestion, sneezing, itching, and rhinorrhea (runny nose).

Indications

This medication is indicated for the treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis (hay fever) in patients aged 12 years and older. It works by reducing nasal inflammation and relieving associated allergy symptoms.

Administration Instructions

Prior to each use, gently shake the bottle. Remove the protective cap and prime the pump by depressing it until a fine mist is visible. Insert the applicator into one nostril while occluding the opposite nostril. Inhale gently while administering the spray. Repeat the procedure for the contralateral nostril. Avoid nasal blowing immediately after administration.

Mechanism of Action

Azelastine HCL functions as a histamine H1-receptor antagonist, blocking the effects of histamine-mediated allergic responses. Fluticasone Propionate is a potent corticosteroid that inhibits inflammatory mediators, thereby reducing nasal mucosal inflammation.

Dosage Guidelines
