Before using Lotepred Eye Drop for the first time, check that the seal is intact. Always wash your hands before administration. Contact lens wearers should remove their lenses prior to use and wait at least 15 minutes after application before reinserting them.

Continue using this medication as prescribed by your doctor, even if symptoms improve. Premature discontinuation may allow bacterial growth and lead to recurrence of infection.

Possible side effects include temporary eye irritation, burning sensations, and excessive tearing. The medication may also cause brief vision blurring – avoid driving or operating machinery until your vision clears. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their physician before using this product.
