Contact lens wearers should remove soft lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinsertion. When using other eye medications, maintain a 10-minute interval. Never discontinue use without consulting your physician.
Common side effects include temporary blurred vision, eye irritation or discomfort, excessive tearing, and headaches. Since the medication enters the bloodstream, rare but potentially serious systemic side effects may occur. Review the package insert and consult your doctor regarding any concerning reactions.
This medication is contraindicated for patients with asthma, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or significant heart conditions. Inform your healthcare provider about any history of coronary artery disease, heart failure, diabetes, respiratory disorders, hyperthyroidism, or liver/kidney disease. While fetal risk is unknown, pregnant women or those planning pregnancy should consult their doctor. Optipres Eye Drop is not recommended during breastfeeding.
