Provanol SR 80 Tablet is prescribed to reduce anxiety and alleviate tremors. It’s also effective in preventing migraines, angina (heart-related chest pain), and stomach bleeding caused by portal hypertension (high blood pressure in the liver).

This medication may additionally be used to manage hypertension and certain cardiac arrhythmias. The prescribed dosage varies based on your condition and individual response to treatment. Always follow your doctor’s instructions precisely. For optimal absorption, take this medication on an empty stomach at consistent times daily. Continue treatment even when feeling well, as the therapeutic benefits persist. Abrupt discontinuation may cause your condition to deteriorate.

Common adverse effects include fatigue, weakness, cold extremities (Raynaud’s phenomenon), bradycardia or irregular heartbeat, finger numbness, and dyspnea.
