Zivast Am

Zivast AM Tablet is a combination medication prescribed for managing hypertension (elevated blood pressure) accompanied by high cholesterol levels. This medication also helps lower the risk of stroke and heart attack.

The tablet can be taken at any time during the day, with or without meals, though maintaining a consistent daily schedule is recommended. Continue treatment as directed by your physician, even if you feel well, since hypertension often presents no noticeable symptoms. Discontinuing medication without medical advice may worsen your condition. Complement your treatment with regular physical activity, weight management, and a balanced diet for optimal blood pressure control.

Potential side effects include headache, nausea, abdominal discomfort, facial flushing, ankle swelling, and elevated liver enzymes. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience yellowing of skin/eyes, dark urine, or severe stomach pain, as these may indicate liver problems. This medication may cause dizziness – avoid driving or operating machinery until you understand its effects on you. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, blood sugar, and electrolyte levels may be required during treatment.
