Angizem Tablet MR is prescribed for treating angina (chest pain related to heart conditions), hypertension (high blood pressure), and certain cardiac arrhythmias (irregular heart rhythms). As a calcium channel blocker, it functions by relaxing blood vessels, thereby reducing blood pressure and decreasing the heart’s workload.

This medication should be taken consistently at the same time daily, with or without food, as directed by your physician. Continue treatment even if symptoms improve, as abrupt discontinuation may worsen your condition. Angizem Tablet MR is most effective when combined with lifestyle modifications including a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and weight management as recommended by your doctor.

Common adverse effects may include headache, constipation, dizziness, tiredness, nausea, facial flushing, and skin rashes. These typically subside as your body adjusts to the medication. Consult your healthcare provider if these persist or cause concern. Due to potential drowsiness or dizziness, exercise caution when driving or operating machinery. Alcohol consumption should be avoided as it may exacerbate side effects.
