Prazopress

Prazopress Tablet is prescribed for managing high blood pressure and reducing the risk of heart attack or stroke. It may also be used to treat heart failure and benign prostatic hyperplasia (mild prostate enlargement).

This medication can be taken as monotherapy or combined with other drugs. It may be administered with or without meals, with dosage determined by your medical condition and response to treatment. Consistent use is essential for optimal results. Since hypertension often presents without symptoms, continue treatment even if you feel well. Discontinuation may lead to elevated blood pressure, increasing cardiovascular risks. Long-term or lifelong therapy may be necessary.

Common adverse effects include dizziness, headaches, nausea, and palpitations, which typically subside with continued use. The medication may cause significant blood pressure reduction, particularly during initial treatment. Consult your physician for management strategies regarding these effects.
